Meet Deborah Conlon, an Artist featured in VIVA’s May Show, “This Place, These Faces”
Deb took painting and drawing classes in high school and college, but it wasn’t
until after she settled in the Driftless Region of Southwest WI., and discovered
plein air painting that she became a “serious dabbler in oil paint”. During the past
20 years she has taken advantage of many painting workshops and has
participated in several Plein Air painting festivals, where she has met and learned
from talented regional painters. She still loves the intensity of trying to capture a
quick impression of a scene in the moment. Deb is very grateful for the support
and friendships she has formed with fellow painters over the years and feels very
fortunate to have landed in this lovely spot on the planet.
